The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame has announced the names of its 12 inductees for 32nd induction ceremonies in 2022. Going in for the drivers category will be Bob Frey, Eric Gordon, Tim Green, and Tony Stewart. Being inducted in the Owners/Builders/Mechanics and Car Builders category will be Ralph Heintzman Sr., Walter T. Ross, and Dennis Roth. The Promoters/Media Members and Event Sponsor category will include Johnny Gibson, Jack Kromer, and Robin Miller, and the pre-1945 category will include Walter “Slim” Rutherford. The induction banquet will be held Saturday June 4th in Knoxville and tickets will go on sale the first week in February.
