The Indianola City Council meets in regular session Tuesday due to the Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday. The council will consider the third reading of changes to city codes regarding noise regulations, transient merchants, and the vacation of an easement, appointments to boards and commissions, hold a public hearing on a zoning district change, and consider a resolution on temporary road closures for the 2022 road construction program. After the regular meeting concludes, the council will meet in a study session to receive an update on the Square Reconstruction Project and a presentation from the Public Works Department. The meeting begins at 6pm Tuesday in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
