The Pella Community Foundation Board of Directors awarded 29 grants totaling $125,000 for 2022 at a luncheon Thursday. Over its 31 year history, the Foundation has awarded $1,444,000 in grants.

President of the Foundation Jim Brandl says two Impact grants totaling $40,000 were awarded to The Spirit of Pella committee and to Wesley Life – Hearthstone, intended to play a key role in providing significant funding for their projects which strengthen Pella by addressing major initiatives and promising opportunities.

In addition 25 other non-profit organizations received Board Directed grants totaling $85,000.
