The Pella School Board approved the 2022-23 calendar at their meeting Monday. The board moved forward with a proposal from school administration to start on Tuesday, August 23rd and to end on May 25th with 1096 instructional hours.

A new 53-foot trailer was purchased for $84,250 to accommodate growth of equipment needs and students in the band program, coming out of the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy fund. The board also reviewed policies relating to public participation.

An evaluation of Superintendent Greg Ebeling was tabled until February due to school personnel/board members unable to attend the meeting in person.
