Knoxville finished 4th and PCM was 8th at the Southern Iowa Wrestling Classic in Fairfield on Saturday. The Panthers were 6.5 points out of 3rd place on the strength of two 1st place finishes in Luke Spaur, who kept his unbeaten record this season intact by winning the 132 pound weight class and Daniel Gorskikh, back from injury won the 138 pound weight class. Triston Sinnard took 3rd at 126 pounds. PCM had a pair of 3rd place finishers in Remington Fry at 120 pounds and Donovan Nickelson at 195 pounds. Knoxville will conclude the regular season Tuesday with duals at home against Carlisle and Martensdale-St. Mary’s while PCM’s regular season has concluded and will head to the class 2A Sectional in Albia on Saturday.
