A fundraiser to help local animal shelters will be held next Saturday. Dog owners and canines are invited to Summerset Winery in Indianola for the Smooches for Pooches Fundraiser, which will include a bar for owners, treats and water for the dogs, and a photographer will be on site. Admission is free, and donated items will be collected, and a donated item will provide a $1 discount on a glass of wine. Dogs must be current on vaccinations and on a leash at all times, and owners are asked to clean up after their dog indoors and outdoors. The event will be on February 12th from 12-3pm.
