Six Knoxville Wrestlers and three from PCM have qualified for the class2A District on Saturday in Knoxville from the Albia Sectional. From Knoxville Marco Alejo qualified as a runner up at 113 pounds, Luke Spaur remained undefeated this season with a Sectional title in the 132 pound weight class. Also from Knoxville was Tristan DeJong at 160 pounds taking 2nd place, Gavin Montalvo won the 170 pound weight class, Wayne Johnston took second at 182 pounds, and Trenton Kingery was runner-up at 220 pounds. For PCM, the Mustangs will send Remington Fry at 120 pounds as a runner-up, Donovan Nicholson was runner-up at 195 pounds, and Kaden Clark took second place at 285 pounds. Knoxville finished 2nd in the team standings while PCM was third. Albia won the team title and was the only team to qualify for the regional duals. The class 2A District meet will be in Knoxville on Saturday and will start at 12:00pm.
