At the Knoxville School Board meeting this week, they approved the project quotes for new athletics equipment at the high school and new middle school gyms. The board approved the quote submitted by Daktronics in the total amount of $34,806 for new middle school gym scoreboards and shot clocks and high school gym shot clocks, to comply with the new rule in Iowa high school basketball requiring the use of shot clocks next year. They also approved a quote submitted by H2I Group in the amount of $25,925.00 for a baseball/softball/golf indoor practice net for the new middle school gym. The Board lastly accepted a quote submitted by Architectural Arts in the amount of $8,685.00 for new high school athletic storage cabinets.
