The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad finished 7-15 this season. The Sabers were able to win a few more games than what outsiders thought this season and Coach Brad McWilliams tells KNIA/KRLS Sports wins and losses aside ,it was great to work with this year’s group.

McWilliams: “The games that we were going to be competitive in we were, and the game I thought we would struggle in we did. But I was happy to work with some great kids and we had a rather satisfying season.

The Sabers were led by Devin Arkema, who broke the single season scoring record for the Sabers that had stood since 1967. His 510 points this season was an average of 23.1 which was also a record. Had a season high of 44 against Moulton-Udell on February 11th in the opening round of the class 1A district where Twin Cedars won 87-34.
