Former Knoxville Athlete Alex Griggs is completing her college tennis career at Central College. Griggs was also on the newly formed Triathlon Squad at Central and was honored to have been on the ground floor of a new sport. She tells KNIA/KRLS Sports traveling around the country representing Central College was a highlight of her athletic career.

Griggs: “We ended up going to Wiscosnin, and West Virginia and Virginia and then Arizona to the national championships. It was a nice change of pace with tennis and doing something that was so different from the other sport.”
