Pleasantville Boys and Girls Golf Place 1st @ Shady Oaks

 

Both of Pleasantville’s golf squads came away with victories over Southeast Warren at Shady Oaks Course in Ackworth.

 

The Trojans’ boys finished with a team score of 190. Jaxx Lovell took home the meet medalist with a low score of 43. Andrew Pender placed second on the Trojans with a score of 47. Jake Hiemstra rounded out the top three with a 48. The Trojans’ girls finished with a team score of 218. Kristen Roe continued her dominant season with another meet medalist award, finishing with a low score of 48. Riley Thill was runner-up for Pleasantville and in the meet with a score of 54.

 

Pleasantville’s boys will begin sectional play Wednesday at PCM, while the girls’ will begin regional play Friday at Central Decatur.

 

Pleasantville Girls Track Places 7th at Martensdale-St. Mary’s

 

Pleasantville’s girls’ track and field squad finished their regular season with a seventh-place finish at Martensdale-St. Mary’s.

 

The Trojans finished with a team score of 47 points, 40 ahead of eighth-place Colo-Nesco. Pleasantville’s highest finish came in the 100 meter dash. Amy Kish placed second for the Trojans, finishing with a time of 13.68 seconds.

 

Pleasantville’s state-qualifying meet will be Thursday at PCM.

 

Pleasantville Boys Track Places 3rd at Nodaway Valley

 

Pleasantville’s boys’ track and field squad ended their regular season with a third-place finish at Nodaway Valley Monday.

 

The Trojans’ boys finished with a team score of 92 points, finishing five points behind the host. Pleasantville had two first-place finishes in the meet. Kurt Kuhnen placed first in the 800 meter run, finishing with a time of 2:15.71. Edwin Escalante placed first in the high jump with a height of 5’8”.

 

State-qualifying meets for Pleasantville will be Thursday at PCM.
