
In an effort to retain support staff and to recruit new bus drivers, the Pella School Board approved multiple incentives to bolster those ranks.
After increasing pay in all part-time roles in the district earlier this spring, Superintendent Greg Ebeling says new bonuses have been approved for current part-time employees to expand their duties to include others or those who recruit new part-time staff–bus drivers in particular, to start with the Pella Schools.
Additionally, Ebeling says health insurance options are now available to those working at 25% of full-time equivalent, with the district paying for at least half of those benefits.
An employee recruiting fair for the Pella Community Schools will be held on June 14th from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
