The Knoxville School Board held a discussion Monday about establishing a Ken Locke Stadium Preservation Committee.  Knoxville School District Business Manager Craig Mobley spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the committee

When our facilities Task Force made their recommendation to spend the 2.5 million dollars, part of that recommendation included creating a Ken Locke Preservation Committee. The Board had a discussion about the creation and makeup of that committee. Right now it looks like there will be two members of our School Board, our Facilities Director, three members of the Alumni Association/SOS Committee, three members from the city of Knoxville, and two members from the Marion County Historical Society will be invited to the Committee.”

Once the committee members are chosen, they will meet and discuss the future of the stadium.
