The Indianola softball team will look to stay near the top of the Little Hawkeye Conference standings tonight as they take on the Dutch of Pella in a doubleheader.
Indianola is currently 7-2 in conference play in third place a game back of Dallas Center-Grimes and Norwalk, and have won 10 of their last 13 games, and face a Pella team that has won three in a row and is battling for a top four spot in the conference standings. Indians head coach Stacy Evans tells KNIA Sports the Indians will have to be more consistent at the plate and in the field in order to get to where they want to be, and as the season goes on they will have to work on that during the games and in practice.
Game two of the doubleheader will be broadcast live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at approximately 7pm, with first pitch scheduled for 7:15pm.
