A trip home for a pair of Michigan natives on the Central College women’s soccer team is an early highlight of the 2022 season.

After opening the season at home against Augustana College (Ill.) on September 1, the Dutch head to the shores of Lake Michigan for a Labor Day trip. The team starts against St. Mary’s College (Ind.) on Saturday, September 3 before playing on Monday, September 5 at Hope College (Mich.). Head coach Mike Kobylinski is a Kalamazoo, Michigan native and senior defender Alyssa Knuth is from nearby Benton Harbor, Michigan. Central last traveled to Michigan in 2016 to play Adrian College and Alma College.

Central has four additional home non-conference matches in September: St. Catherine University (Minn.) (September 10), Cornell College (September 17), Illinois College (September 18) and the University of Wisconsin-Platteville (September 24).

The Dutch have road trips to Monmouth College (Ill.) on September 14 and Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on September 21.

The Dutch host their first conference opponent on October 8 against Coe College. Simpson College comes to Pella on October 11 before Central ends the regular season at home against Luther College (October 22) and Nebraska Wesleyan University (October 25).

Central will travel to the University of Dubuque (October 1), Wartburg College (October 5), Loras College (October 15) and Buena Vista University (October 19) during the conference season.
