The Indianola boys and girls of summer travel to the Mustangs of Dallas Center-Grimes Monday for a pair of Little Hawkeye Conference doubleheaders.

The Indians softball team is looking to keep pace with the Mustangs in the conference standings, sitting a game back from DCG and Norwalk, and fell to DCG earlier this season at home. Action starts at 5:30pm.

The Indianola baseball squad is in much of the same position, sitting a game back of the conference standings with DCG handing the Indians one of their only two losses. Head coach Jon Fitzpatrick tells KNIA Sports at this point of the season his squad knows that no game will be easy, and in order to perform their best they have to focus and play to the top of their ability.

Game two of the doubleheader can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at approximately 7:15, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30pm.
