The Knoxville City Council met in a regular session on Tuesday. The council held a public hearing on the rezoning request for a portion of the former VA Property. The council decided to keep the public meeting open for further discussion and tabled the consideration of approving the rezoning request until the next meeting. The council also held a public hearing for a request to rezone 714 W. Rock Island Street. The council approved the first reading of the request.
