Triumph Martial Arts is bringing back a free Kids Safety Day. The event will be held on Saturday, July 23rd, from 9 a.m. to noon, with sign ups available for free seminars for kids aged 6-12 years old to go over the basics of self-defense at their location at 1582 West Washington Street. Co-Owner of Triumph Martial Arts Chris White says the purpose is to educate young children and give them small tools to help protect themselves from strangers. The event will also feature vehicles and members of Pella Police, Fire, and Ambulance, with snacks and activities on site. Spots for the safety sessions are limited to 200 kids, and about 100 are signed up now. Registration details can be found here.
