Southeast Warren will start the class 1A State Tournament this evening against Remsen St. Mary’s. The Warhawks got to the class 1A State Tournament by beating Orient-Macksburg 12-0, Griswold 12-2, and Exira in the regional final 3-0. Coach Cody Reynolds tells KNIA Sports the confidence level is high as many on the team have experienced the State Tournament.

Reynolds: “We feel very confident going into Fort Dodge, we have had 8 of our 9 starters playing a game up there. The community, the kids, and everyone is excited and we’re glad to be going back.”

First pitch is scheduled for 5:00.
