The Southeast Warren Softball Squad is on to the class 1A State Championship game after knocking off top seeded North Linn on Wednesday 6-2. The Warhawks fell behind early on but responded with three runs in the top of the 2nd inning, and would add two more to make it 5-2. The big blow came in the 6th when pitcher Alyvia Ruble hit a solo home run. The Warhawks will see a familiar opponent in the title game as Twin Cedars, who beat Martensdale-St. Mary’s, will be the opponent. The two teams played back on June 27th with the Warhawks holding on for a 4-3 win. You can hear the call Friday night on 92.1 KRLS with the pregame beginning at 7:00.
