Kicking off the countdown of the top 10 sports moments of the 2021-2022 PCM school year, the Mustangs’ girls basketball team claims the #10 spot as they picked up their third win in four games with a dominant 47-34 victory over Greene County on January 25th.
Defensive intensity powered PCM to the victory, as they held the Rams to just 11 points in the first half. Emily Foster led the Mustangs offensive attack against their Heart of Iowa Conference foes, scoring 15 points highlighted by a buzzer-beating three right before halftime.
Addison and Paige Steenhoek each contributed 10 points apiece to help PCM improve to 6-12 overall and 5-5 in conference play.
