The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday. They received and filed the Marion County Sheriff’s Office Quarterly and end of fiscal year reports. 

They held a public hearing on the disposition of property in Hamilton. They approved resolutions  on Highway G76 and T15 Traffic Safety Improvement programs, participation in Safe Streets and Roads for All programs, and a G71 pavement rehabilitation project. 

They authorized FY23 Transfer of Funds from the Rural Basic Fund to the Secondary Road Fund, and considered VA Demolition Project Change Orders and received an update, among other matters.

Chris Nesteby, Facilities Director for Marion County, served as the Project Manager for the VA Demolition Project. Nesteby told KNIA-KRLS News the project came in under budget and was completed ahead of schedule.
