The #7 moment on our top 10 countdown of Pleasantville’s best sports stories over the 2021-22 school year is the first of many school records broken by the Trojans this last year.

Rachel Harvey finished a fantastic basketball career at Pleasantville having broken the school record for most career assists with 244, including three seasons with 70 or more assists. Harvey had 71 assists this past season, despite having to miss the first two games of the year against Saydel and Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont with an ankle injury. Her defining game in breaking the school record came in a February 4th meeting with West Central Conference foe ACGC. Harvey had a season-high seven assists in the team’s 72-38 victory over the Chargers.
