The 2021-22 school year was full of amazing moments for Indianola High School, so many so that several great moments fell just short of the Top 10. Here are some honorable mentions that fell just short of making the list.

The Indianola football team shut out Carlisle 41-0 to earn their first ever playoff win at home, and first playoff win since 1986 this past year. Indianola scored first on a Kael Kolarik 60-yard rush just three plays into the game, then after an extended Carlisle drive a fumble gave the ball back to the Indians who scored two players later on a Matthew Edgington 49-yard run, and it was all Indianola after that.

Indianola junior Drew Kingery dropped 35 points on the Blue Jays of Bondurant-Farrar in a late-season non-conference clash as the Indians boys basketball team won 67-63, which put him over the 1,000 career scoring mark. Kingery goes into his senior season with 1,017 career points.

Logan Piper had a stellar junior season on the track, and that culminated in a 2nd place finish in the 400 Hurdles at the Drake Blue Oval for the Iowa State High School Track and Field meet. Logan ran a 53.81, just a second behind winning a state title, and will return for his senior season.

The countdown continues on Monday with #5.
