Jeff and his wife Patti, feel fortunate to win the car along with $25,000 in cash. Jeff tells KNIA/KRLS News his thoughts when he got the call from Bob Baker, Executive Director of the ]Hall of Fame that he had won the Corvette,  “I didn’t talk to him at first. I was watching a movie. Somebody called, I looked at my phone.  I knew I didn’t know anybody from there. I set my phone down and they left me a voice mail. Ten minutes later the movie was over, I picked up my phone I read the voice mail instead of listening to it and it said hello Jeff this is Bob from the Sprint Car Hall of Fame. I dropped my phone, I knew they were doing the drawing for the Corvette at 10:00 that night and got very emotional. My wife sitting on the other side of the living room thought possibly someone had passed away. She didn’t know what was wrong and I choked out, I won a Corvette. She looks at the phone and said, it doesn’t say that. I know but they called me. Why else are they calling me. They aren’t calling me to say me credit card is no good.”

allBaker said the Corvette Giveaway for 2023 will be the 70th Anniversary Edition Corvette and the color is white. Tickets are already being sold for the 2023 car.
