Despite political turmoil and ongoing economic challenges, Many Hands for Haiti continues work to expand their operation on the island nation. Executive Leader of Many Hands for Haiti Tim Brand says registration is still open for the Pignon in Pella event this Saturday, with the goal of opening a new Love-in-Action Center in Haiti after last year’s successful fundraiser. Brand says while the political situation remains dire and much of the nation is in trouble due to harsh economic conditions, he’s been encouraged by their continued work transforming communities and connecting families in the region they serve.
