The Knoxville City Council met in regular session Monday night. Among the items on the agenda were appointing a new City Clerk/Finance Officer and naming depositories for city funds. Jodie Wyman was the new hire and she was sworn into office by mayor Brian Hatch.

The council also looked at approving final costs for the Competine Trail Phase 2 Project and accepting final costs for the 2021 Street Improvement Project. The council also considered the intergovernmental transfer of public funds agreement between the Iowa Department of Human Services and the Knoxville Fire Department. All were approved by council.

Mayor Hatch thanked everyone involved for making the Cancer Relay a success.
