Hosting their last of three home triangulars this season Tuesday night, the Pleasantville volleyball squad was unable to avoid sweeps against Van Meter and Grand View Christian. The Trojans started off the night, trying to leapfrog Van Meter in the West Central Conference standings but ultimately fell in three sets 25-19, 25-13, 25-18. After falling to the Bulldogs, Pleasantville looked to bounce back against Grand View Christian, but suffered a similar fate in two sets 25-16, 25-10. The Trojans dropped to 9-12 overall and 3-2 in conference play and will look to bounce back on Thursday in a non-conference triangular at Woodward-Granger.
