The #5 Indianola volleyball team swept Pella Tuesday night 3-0, celebrating not only senior night but a share of the Little Hawkeye Conference title. The Indians won all three sets in similar fashion, slowly building leads throughout and ending the sets on runs to put away the wins, winning set one 25-18, set two 25-17, and set three 25-18 to earn the victory.

Head coach Kent Halstead tells KNIA Sports the Little Hawkeye Conference is a great test, and should prepare any team in it for postseason play as there are always quality programs that are well coached and have good athletes.

The Indians have just one more test in the regular season, hosting the Little Hawkeye Conference tournament Thursday at the Blake Fieldhouse before regional play begins. Indianola ends the conference regular season with a 6-1 record, tied with #8 Norwalk in record and winning the head-to-head matchup.

Pella was paced by nine kills from Jasmine Namminga and seven from Mia Warner. The Dutch fall to 16-10 overall and 3-4 in the conference, and will join Indianola for the league tournament Thursday.
