After a fantastic junior season on Eagle Lane, Pella Christian senior Emri Agre signed her National Letter of Intent to continue her softball career at Taylor University next year.

As a junior this past summer, Emri led Class 2A and was tied for ninth among all classes in total bases with 108. Additionally, Emri was tied for the most triples in 2A with nine on the season. She was second in Class 2A with a .573 batting average and 59 hits, tied for fourth with a 1.049 slugging percentage, and was fifth with a .614 on base percentage. Emri also blasted six home runs, which was tied most of any Eagle this past summer.

Taylor University competes at the NAIA level (National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics) in the Crossroads League. Last spring, the Trojans were 26-29 overall and 19-17 in the Crossroads League and ended their season in the opening round of the NAIA National Championships.
