Knoxville held an Achieve Challenge varsity boys’ basketball game Tuesday. The Achieve Challenge gives teams a chance to play a full game that doesn’t count on the record.

The Knoxville Panthers played the game while raising food for the Knoxville High School’s food pantry. According to Panther Head Coach Troy Pearson, there were three large carts filled with food that will go to the Knoxville Food Youth Initiative.

According to Pearon it’s a great event. In addition to adding food for a good cause it enabled the coach to get an early look at his team. Knoxville faced Winterset with the Huskies winning the game 83-70. Winterset finished fourth at state a year ago.
