A Pella High School graduate will have the chance to play among the best teams and athletes in the nation.

Emily Holterhaus and her UNI Panthers narrowly defeated Drake on Wednesday in the Missouri Valley Conference championship match (3-2; 25-20, 19-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13) to earn an automatic bid into the NCAA Volleyball National Tournament. The selection show on Sunday will determine their first round opponent.

Holterhaus will compete in her second ever NCAA finals bracket after doing so as a freshman. The MVC tournament champions earn an automatic entry into the final 64 of Division I.
