The Twin Cedars School Board discussed having guns in the school to help protect the students and teachers in case of a school shooting.
Twin Cedars School Superintendent Scott Bridges tells KNIA/KRLS News about the board meeting, “We had a discussion about what it would be like to arm professionals. Arming professionals, that’s why we said arming professionals, doesn’t mean necessarily a teacher.”
Bridges said it’s a very serious thing to consider due to the threats that schools face. Bridges says, all they have done at Twin Cedars is have a discussion about it.
