twin-cedars-4

The Twin Cedars Boys Basketball Squad got its first win of the season with a 59-50 victory over Moulton-Udell on Saturday afternoon. The games was a late schedule due to Orient-Macksburg not being able to have a team this season and both squads needed an extra conference game. Coach Mateo Varese told KNIA/KRLS Sports his team played better on Saturday and kept their turnovers down, which had hampered them in the first two games. Kail Arkema led two Sabers in double figures with 28 points on five three point shots, while Holden Roberts scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds. Twin Cedars is 1-2 on the season and due to the late schedule change will have a back-to-back with Moulton-Udell on Tuesday with the girls joining in the varsity double header.
