The Norwalk, Indianola, and Pella wrestling teams make the road trip to Norwalk High School today for the Little Hawkeye Conference meet, joined by the six other participating schools.

Indianola is the favorite to win the team title, ranked 12th in the dual team rankings according to the Iowa Wrestling Coaches and Officials Association, and went undefeated during the regular season dual schedule, and currently features four ranked wrestlers according to IAWrestle.com.

Norwalk is ranked 21st in the rankings, and had narrow losses to 14th ranked Dallas Center-Grimes and Indianola in the regular season also featuring four individually ranked wrestlers including #1 at heavyweight Maddux Borcherding-Johnson, while Pella also received votes in class 3A, finishing just outside the top 24 and has two ranked wrestlers, making the LHC meet one of the most closely contested in several years.

The meet also serves as the last tuneup of the regular season, as postseason duals and regional qualifying meets will take place over the course of the next week. Wrestlers hit the mats at 10am.
