The Indianola City Council meets in regular session this evening, where Mayor Stephanie Erickson will read a proclamation declaring February 2nd as Chris Street Day in Indianola. The council will continue a public hearing opened at their last meeting on January 16th regarding a planned unit development from The Village, who plans a $36 million expansion. The hearing was opened and left open for The Village to continue addressing nearby residents’ concerns about the expansion, and will now go before the council.

The council will also consider a real estate purchase agreement with the Warren County Historical Society, and a change order for the Water Resource Recovery Facility Project.

The council will meet in a study session before the meeting begins to discuss the Indianola Soccer Tribe, and receive a presentation on the FY2024 budget. The study session begins at 6pm in the city council chambers at Indianola City Hall.
