The Indianola Noon Lions are hosting a membership drive in March, aiming to recruit new members to the club that has been in the Indianola area for over 90 years. Tom Charlton with the Indianola Noon Lions tells KNIA News the Lions Club is a group of dedicated individuals who are committed to serving the community, and are behind a lot of efforts that support local students, organizations, and those in need.

“We are awfully proud to be members of this club, we’ve been around for over 92 years, and that’s quite an amazing thing. We pride ourselves on our ability to support a lot of community activities, functions, and people, as well as the Iowa Lions Foundation and the Lions International Foundation.”

Charlton said if anyone is interested in joining, to contact them either online or ask a current Lions member. For more information, tune in to today’s Let’s Talk Indianola.
