The Indianola girls basketball team finished the 2022-23 season with a record of 10-12 and a fourth place finish in the competitive Little Hawkeye Conference, while facing one of the toughest non-conference schedules in the state. The Indians not only played ranked Dallas Center-Grimes, Grinnell, and Pella in the conference, but matched up with Southeast Polk, Johnston, and Clear Creek-Amana, all class 5A and 4A state qualifiers in non-conference play. The Indians graduated two seniors in Emily Naughton and Gillian Smith.
