After local kids and their families came together to bring joy to retirement communities ahead of Valentine’s Day, Crossroads of Pella is using another day away from school to do the same over spring break.

Chris Allen with Crossroads of Pella says the second Playdate to Do Good Things will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in the Pella Community Center, featuring a kid-friendly service project. Intern Angela Harestad from Central College has been helping organize the projects and give children a fun, creative way to help others in the community.
