Another round of winter weather is expected to impact south central Iowa today. According to the National Weather Service, the highest snow totals are expected across northern Iowa, with little accumulation south of Interstate-80, with 1-2” expected for Marion and Warren Counties. Despite the little to no accumulation of snow, the National Weather Service recommends extra caution when traveling today, as the winter conditions may lead to slick roads and lower visibility. The NWS recommends taking extra time to reach your destination, and allowing for more space when following other vehicles. The one to count on for winter weather coverage is KNIA/KRLS.
