There is an upcoming meeting about high-speed internet in Knoxville scheduled for March 27, at the Knoxville Public Library starting at 6 pm. Other meetings are being held around the state on that date.

This process is being used to allow cities, schools, counties, to submit areas for Broadband Intervention Zones. There is no funding associated with the program, but areas selected will have priority for funding to providers when they apply to incentivize projects in the priority areas.
