The Indianola boys and girls track and field teams head to the Little Hawkeye Conference Indoor Meet at Grinnell today, an early season preview of some of the best competition in the area. Both teams have seen limited action in indoor meets so far this season, and head girls coach Morgan Singleton tells KNIA Sports she feels one of the teams biggest strengths this year is their chemistry.

“I think a big strength is they are willing to step up and do whatever it takes and I think that’s really great. They are willing to work really hard, and that’s a huge strength as well. And another strength is that they are having fun with each other. When you are enjoying track and happy with what you are doing you are successful.”

The meet begins today at 4pm.
