With the arrival of Spring, Knoxville Community Service Officer Meredith Clark wants to remind residents of some of the city codes to abide by.

Grass and weeds should be mowed before reaching 8” in height. Burning of leaves and branches is allowed, but burning household trash is never allowed. When visiting a park remember to take out whatever items you bring in.

Trash must be placed in a rigid container secured with a lid to prevent litter. Remember to clean up after your dog when out for a walk. Pets are not allowed in public parks or cemeteries. All dogs must be secured on a leash at all times unless confined within the owner’s property or vehicle.

Clark reminds people there is a dog park in town if you want to let them run.
