The Knoxville Boys Golf Squad gets its first test of the season as the Panthers head to Bos Landen in Pella for the Dutch Invitational. The Panthers will be joined by host Pella, Pella Christian along with defending class 3A State Champion Gilbert, and Winterset. The Panthers have a lot of high expectations this season and one of them is to return to the State Meet. Evan Smith and Carson Uitermarkt tell KNIA/KRLS Sports they are looking forward to this early season test.

Evan: “It’s going to be a test, but it’s a reason to be in a good spot to see if we win. We know that we can beat these teams, but if we lose, we know we have revenge when it matters.”

Carson: “It really does change your outlook, you don’t have to send your ball just take it easy and not get into trouble.”
