The Indianola girls soccer team defeated Warren County rival Carlisle 4-3 in a non-conference matchup Saturday at Indianola stadium. Isabelle Crookes got the scoring started for the Indians in the first half, and the Wildcats scored to tie the contest at one apiece. Remy Sivertsen found the back of the net in the second half however, which opened the floodgates, as both she and Crookes both scored again to lead 4-1, and despite a Wildcats furious comeback attempt Indianola held on for the win. The Indians are now 6-6 on the season, and will have a pivotal matchup in Little Hawkeye Conference action Tuesday hosting Norwalk.
