The Indianola and Knoxville baseball teams start their 2023 campaigns in a building rivalry matchup Monday at the Indianola baseball field. The Indians are coming off of a 26-13 campaign and a state tournament appearance while bringing back the majority of their team, while Knoxville won the South Central Conference championship and features one of the top pitchers in the state in Beau Leisure. The game will be broadcast live on KNIA, with Andrew Swadner and Derek Cardwell on the play-by-play. Pregame coverage begins at 7:15pm, with first pitch scheduled for 7:30.
