The Indianola softball team was up 2-1 on Ballard in a non-conference game that was postponed due to weather in the fifth inning. The Indians fell behind 1-0 to the Bombers, but got runs back when Izzy Sloan and Taylor Adamson scored to get to the final tally, while Izzie Benge was in the circle giving up just a couple of hits.
The Indianola softball team will be joined by the baseball team hosting the Pella Christian Eagles tonight to begin Little Hawkeye Conference action, with the second game of both doubleheader contests being broadcast live on KNIA and KRLS. The baseball game will have Tyler Crabb on the call on 92.1 KRLS, and the softball contest on 94.3 KNIA with Andrew Swadner on the play-by-play. Pregame for both contests begins at approximately 7:15pm.
