The Knoxville Baseball Squad embarks on another busy week as the class 3A #6 Panthers, still unbeaten at 12-0, head to Chariton for a conference game on Monday. The Panthers are in action each day this week as they host Gilbert on Tuesday, host Albia for a double header on Wednesday, head to PCM on Thursday and travel to Clarke on Friday. Coach Turner Devore tells KNIA/KRLS Sports hopes that his team is getting healthy and his pitching depth can grow.
Devore: “They have a lot of kids with experience, and they’re going to be Gilbert. A double header with Albia and a PCM team that’s on the rise with a lot of young kids, and finish off with Clarke, who is pretty good. We hope to have a few kids healthy finally and can get some other kids on the mound.”
The Gilbert contest can be heard live on 95.3 KNIA on Tuesday.
