The Melcher-Dallas Baseball Squad knew it would be a tough task against Ankeny Christian and it was that as the Eagles defeated the Saints 18-4. ACA poured it on in the 1st inning plating 11 runs to get a sizable lead and finished off the game with seven more in the 2nd. The Saints did respond with four runs of their own in the 1st but it was not enough. Melcher-Dallas was held to just four hits on the night with one each coming from Mason DeJong, Logan Godfrey, Max Enfield, and Trevor Hoch.
