The Norwalk baseball and softball teams swept Little Hawkeye Conference rival Oskaloosa Friday night, softball winning 9-1 and baseball 8-2. Zadie Wadle and Olivia Dougherty combined for 10 strikeouts, while Lauren Black and Dougherty each hit home runs, while Jaylynn Brandt and Wadle each had a pair of hits. The team improves to 17-4 overall and 10-2 in conference. The baseball team went up 2-0 in the first, then after Osky scored a run in the third, the Warriors answered with two more to lead 4-1. Osky got another run back to get it close, but it was all Norwalk after that as they scored four more runs to close it out. The team is now 5-16 overall and 4-8 in the conference. Both teams next play Monday at Newton.
